1/ 3 Measure of the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University No. 2/2021 SETTING THE AMOUNT OF STUDY-RELATED FEES FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2021/2022 In accordance with § 28 (1) of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions and on Modification and Amendment of Other Acts (Higher Education Act), as later amended (hereinafter referred to as the “Act”), I issue the following Measure: Section 1 Setting the amount of application fees (1) Pursuant to the provisions of Section 58(5) of the Higher Education Act and Section 5 of Appendix No. 2 of the Statutes of Masaryk University (hereinafter referred to as the “MU Statutes”), I hereby set the amount of application fees for the admissions procedure commencing in the academic year 2021/2022 in accordance with Section 58(1) of the Higher Education Act and Section 3 of Appendix No. 2 of the MU Statute: Bachelor’s and non-follow-up Master’s degree programme Follow-up Master’s degree programme Doctoral degree programme CZK 600 CZK 600 CZK 600 (2) Pursuant to the provisions of Section 58(5) of the Higher Education Act and Section 5 of Appendix No. 2 of the MU Statutes, I set the application fees to study in a foreign language commencing in the academic year 2021/2022 in accordance with Section 58(4) of the Higher Education Act and Section 4 of Appendix No. 2 of the MU Statutes: Bachelor’s and non-follow-up Master’s degree programme Follow-up Master’s degree programme Doctoral degree programme CZK 800 CZK 800 CZK 800 2/ 3 Section 2 Setting the amount of tuition fees for study in a foreign language degree programme (1) Pursuant to the provisions of Section 58(5) of the Higher Education Act and Section 13 of Appendix No. 2 of the MU Statutes, I set the amount of tuition fees for study in a foreign language degree programme for the academic year 2021/2022 in accordance with Section 58(4) of the Higher Education Act and Section 12 of Appendix No. 2 of the MU Statutes: Bachelor’s and non-follow-up Master’s degree programme Follow-up Master’s degree programme Doctoral degree programme EUR 2,500 EUR 2,500 (English Language and Literature, North-American Cultural Studies) EUR 1,250 (other degree programmes) EUR 2,000 (English Linguistics, Literatures in English) EUR 500 (Study of Religions) EUR 2,500 (other degree programmes) (2) In the event that accreditation is achieved for the Bachelor’s degree programme in Comparative World Literature in a foreign language, and teaching in this degree programme starts as early as the academic year 2021/2022, I hereby set the fee for this programme at EUR 1,250 in accordance with subsection 1 of this Section. Section 3 Setting the amount of fees for assessing fulfilment of the pre-requisites for admission to study pursuant to Section 48(4)(d) and (5)(c) of the Higher Education Act (1) Pursuant to the provisions of Section 48(7) of the Higher Education Act and Section 15 of Appendix No.2 of the MU Statutes, I hereby set the amount of the fee for acts related to assessing fulfilment of the admission requirements for the admission procedures commencing in the academic year 2021/2022 pursuant to Section 48(4)(d) and (5)(c) of the Higher Education Act and Section 14 of Appendix No. 2 of the MU Statutes: Bachelor’s and non-follow-up Master’s degree programme Follow-up Master’s degree programme Doctoral degree programme CZK 800 CZK 800 CZK 800 Section 4 Final provisions (1) I authorize the Vice-Dean for Admissions and Programme Development to interpret the individual provisions hereof. (2) The compliance with this Measure shall be inspected by the Faculty Bursar.
