Description | This article is focused on developments in competencies and skills of labour force demand among companies in South-Moravia region. The production process in last thirty years is more sophisticated and has complex character even in the industry. Consequently, new requirements of employers on labour force are emerging. The importance of competency and skills is growing, while the importance of qualification is necessary yet. The research is based on qualitative analysis of interviews with general managers and/or HR managers of industrial companies. We try to recognize whether or not the demands are referring to competencies. In the findings are presented some data, figures and conclusions about new needs at the labour market. In this research we used Swedish methodology adapted to national and regional conditions. |
