Description | Fairness is a basic condition for ethical use of any assessment tool. Both test developers and test users are responsible for test quality and they should provide evidence about the validity of the interpretation and consequences of test results. This article focuses on issues related to test fairness and validity, from the historical perspective and in the light of current approaches. Examples of existing Codes, Principles and Standards will be discussed and questions about the usefulness of a local, Czech ethical code will be discussed. |
