Description This publication presents the development of Czech history in a different kind of form than we are commonly used to. You will not be able to find any traditional interpretations about political events, economy transformers, military conflicts, lists of rulers or diplomatic acts in this book. The attention will be given to the less known sectors of human activities typical of the historical time as well as different spheres of human life and their way of living, their social interaction and working relationships. You will learn about the creative work of people who depended on nature for their material and spiritual practices and the world of family relationships.This book is going to be a narration about a certain period of the Czech history when many changes, which were then passed to the next generation, happened. The reader can get familiar with changes in food and eating habits. Also the book will comment upon housing and entertainment, travelling and transportation, fashion, quality of hygiene and health care, development of education of people and you will be also given information about spiritual problems of people of that time and about their private lives.The publication tries to provide a clear picture of the journey and knowledge from the oldest of prehistoric times to the end of the monarchist era. Some important parts of this text as well as quotations from various sources are written in italics. You can notice a huge number of pen-and-ink drawings (more than 700) that have been carefully chosen to give you a complex picture of the presented factography.
