| Description | The paper provides an overview of some orthographical, grammatical and lexical distinctive traits of Smetana’s writing in Czech. The analysis is based on Smetana’s Czech written correspondence deposited in the Smetana Museum (Muzeum Bedřicha Smetana) in Prague. The work shows phemomena which are for Smetana so typical that they appear in Smetana’s private as well as in his official correspondence. |
