Make your new semester easier with the services of the Central Library

13 Sep 2021

In the upcoming semester, lectures are slowly returning from the online environment to the faculty premises. Of course, the situation may change, but the Central Library is ready to help you study in any case. We will keep you updated about any possible changes on the website or our Facebook.

Borrowing, return, and registration

  • Borrowing books from open access collection is possible at the Circulation and Registration Desk. Self-check can also be used.
  • You can use the online catalog to find out if the title you need is available. You can also use it to order books and other items from the closed stacks, and we will prepare it for you within 20 minutes during opening hours.
  • To order titles, you need to be logged in. Therefore registration is required, which can be done online or at the Circulation and Registration Desk.
  • Returning books is possible both in person and using the Bibliobox.

Online services and resources

The following services and resources might also be useful to students and academics during the semester:
  • We offer consultations to students and academics. We can meet with you online or in person at the library.
  • Academics may request an analysis of publishing activities for their work and research.
  • The library has recently expanded its range of Open Science services. We offer researchers or publishing authors assistance with open access publishing, selecting a suitable repository for your publication, and providing information on APC fees.

Group Study Rooms

  • Group Study Rooms are open to students for study purposes and FF employees, who can use them for online teaching. This applies to study rooms D2TYM1 – D2TYM6.
  • The Group Workspace D2TYM7 is reserved for FF employees only.
  • Reservations for Group Study Rooms are not necessary, but those who want to use them and make the reservation have access priority.
