The Lifelong Learning programme is intended for graduates of non-pedagogical Master’s degree study programmes or for students of psychology accredited for the Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University.

Complementary Pedagogical Studies – English Language and Literature

Complementary Pedagogical Study – teaching qualification for the subject of English Language and Literature requires advanced knowledge of the English language (Certificate of Proficiency in English; CPE).

Requirements for entrance examinations:

Written examination, English Proficiency Exam (approx. 75 min):

  • Tests grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension
  • A passing score on the written exam is 70 points

Pedagogical Counselling

This study programme is intended for graduates of pedagogical colleges and teachers who work as pedagogical counsellors. It fulfils the requirements of study for meeting the qualification prerequisites in the framework of further education of pedagogical staff.

The study is based on the scope of work of educational counsellors at basic and secondary schools. It focuses mainly on education and school counselling, professional and career counselling, counselling to support talented individuals, and counselling focused on the prevention and management of social pathology.

Experience-reflective Learning

Are you a lecturer, instructor, teacher, trainer, team-builder, coach, facilitator, educator of people of various ages, camp counsellor, adventure coach, psychologist, psychotherapist, social worker, organizer, or anyone else interested in education and the most effective ways to educate people? At the Department of Pedagogical Sciences at the Faculty of Arts, we are opening a new study programme inexperience-reflective learning for 2017-2019.

Forensic psychology

The lifelong learning programme in forensic psychology is a specialized training programme focused primarily on the subsequent performance of expert activities in the field of psychology.

Other Specialized Studies

ICT Coordinator

The course is based on an accredited course of the DVPP, which is a prerequisite for the performance of the specialized pedagogical activities of the ICT coordinator in schools. The course participants will gradually become acquainted with the pedagogical and didactic aspects of the use of modern technologies and ICT as well as with the principles and specific details of their coordination. Within the study programme, the theoretical and practicalaspects will be closely interconnected.
