I am currently studying for a doctorate in archeology at Masaryk University in Brno. In my dissertation I focus on the subsistence strategy of LBK culture in Moravia. In this context, I am also interested in the process of neolitization and the previous Mesolithic environment, especially in Central Europe. In the Moravian Museum I have the position of curator of collections from the Neolithic and Chalcilithic periods and I also participate in rescue archaeological research in the southwestern part of the Brno-venkov district. Since the beginning of my studies at Masaryk University, I have regularly participated in excavation and prospecting activities in Těšetice-Kyjovice, where I currently pass on my experience to students.

He studied archeology at Masaryk University in Brno, but during his studies abroad at the University of Vienna and the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, he discovered that archeology could be conceived differently. He took part in several foreign research expeditions to Bosnia and Herzegovina (Neolithic tell Okolište and Jagnilo, burrial mound from the Iron Age Kupres). Research questions relate to the functioning of society in the 3rd millennium BC, land-use in the past and the theory of archeology. In 2010 and 2012, he co-organized international conferences focused on the theory of Central European archeology.
