Asisstants for technical support

( this programme is currently not active)

General information

Do you need technical support for your classes and you know a student with whom you could work together during the semester?

If so, contact us and leave the rest to us. We will provide the fundings, solve the administration and also, if necessary, train your assistant.

What exactly is the purpose of the programme?

The aim is to help teachers at the Faculty of Arts, MUNI, to deal with the technical aspects of teaching that usually need to be handled right during the lesson. This support can be provieded by assistants from amongst the students at the faculty. Therefore, the programme Asisstants for technical support offers funds to financially reward students who assist lecturers by providing basic technical support during face-to-face, online or hybrid teaching. This could mean for example:

  • help with work in MS Teams or other similar apps,
  • help with automatic recording or streaming of lectures,
  • integrating mobile technology into the learning experience,
  • integrating applications for activization,
  • and more according to the needs and situation.

You can also work with your technical assistant in more than one subject.

How much can I claim and when it will be paid to the assistant?

There are 2 possible payout dates during the term. You choose to which date the stipend is paid out. Afterwards, the amount is paid as a lump sum on one of the dates.

How do I sign up for the programme?

First of all, you need to find the assistant that you will be working with and arrange the collaboration with them by yourself. We are not able to secure this step.

If you have already settled on the cooperation, just contact us using this form.

If you are looking for a way how to secure funding for an assistant who will help you create e-learning study materials that usually need to be prepared in advance, please take advantage of our Scholarship Programme instead.
