12:15-13:45 Study materials for all - accessible and technically correct
Mgr. Michaela Hanousková, Ing. Svatoslav Ondra
The amount of learning materials that teachers use to populate the e-learning environments of their courses has been increasing for a long time, but it cannot be confirmed that the technical quality of these documents, such as the use of elementary typographic rules, the correct utilization of tools in editors, the presence of a text layer in the document, etc., has also increased proportionally.
Correct procedures can not only prevent the unintentional creation of barriers in study materials for students with specific disadvantages but can also prepare materials in a format that enhances their usability for mainstream users.
In this practice-oriented workshop, we will focus on the following areas:
- Examples of good and bad practices
- Quality typographic design that benefits all
- Correct use of word processors and slide presentations
- How to create PDF documents correctly.
13:45 – 14:00 Refreshment break
Break for coffee or other refreshments. Alternatively, you can have a few words with us about e-learning.
