| Popis | Representations of magic and divination as well as other supernatural phenomena have been transmitted in the past mostly by oral communication. Contemporary diviners, unwitchers and psychics have many opportunities to spread information about their work and their ideas. They use for this purpose not only esoteric magazines which are accessible to relatively small amount of people, but also go with time and offer their services on the internet. The paper deals with the internet representations of people from the region of former Yugoslavia who used to work on the local level, but today offer their magic services to the communities of immigrants living in western European countries. I will demonstrate in what way they manipulate with the representations of magic and how they use them to attract attention of their potential clients. |
