| Popis | Working is important to everybody, because it means that somebody is useful and integrated in the society. Especially for handicapped people it is a possibility to belong tot he society. For this reason it is important that adolescent with learning difficulties or social/emotional handicaps get adequate possibilities to be integrated in the working society. Especially for young women – no matter whether they have an integrated school-leaving qualification or a special school-leaving qualification – it is important for them to find the way into the labour market. A study (Fasching 2013) shows that more than half of the female as well as more than the half of the male graduates with intellectual disabilities go to a workshop for disabled persons. Besides young women with an intellectual disability don’t take the possibilities for working assistance as often as young men do. |
