Citace
Popis Bambusurils are an interesting, growing family of anionic receptors. They are formed by an acid-catalyzed and templated condensation reaction from glycoluril and formaldehyde. These cheap building blocks form a rigid yet still sufficiently flexible structure ideal for the supramolecular interactions.1 Since the publication of the first bambusuril, several other members differing by the substitution and size were prepared. Depending on the substitution it is possible to tune its properties such as solubility or its supramolecular affinities. It is well established, that six-membered bambusurils are capable of forming complexes with wide variety of inorganic anions, but recently we found out, that some of them are even able to interact with organic ones.
