Popis | The period experienced by the subgendre called "narconovel" can be considered outstending, a real boom. Among the great number of novels that are annually published, Perra brava, written by Orfa Alarcón, represents a particular case. The novel was published in 2010 and though it usually is classified as a "narconovel", it cannot be considered a paradigmatic example of the above mentioned literary subgender. The principal character of the novel is Fernanda, a university student, whose present as well as her past are in both cases marked by the omnipresent violence. It is interesant to pay attention to the analyses of the narrative techniques used in the novel, as it is particularly interesting to follow the transformation process of the protagonist. As we can see she becomes changing slowly, and from a strating point when she is a young helpless a abused girl, she ends up being a heartless person whose acts have signs of brutality. |
