Popis | This paper employs a small osteological elements analysis, running at a scale of less than 1 cm, in order to describe fragmentation of faunal remains, their spatial distribution and burning processes. This analysis has provided a deeper insight into selected parts of the Dolní Věstonice II site complex (dated to Upper Paleolithic), including evaluation of aspects of human fragmentation, depositional and post-depositional taphonomic processes, which might offer a better understanding of these complex formative phenomenon. |
