| Popis | The historiographic vision presents the Armenian art, since the nineteenth century, as a peripheral part of the Byzantine world. This situation appears as the result of a Russian historiography that does not seem to see solid relations with Syria. In my view, the situation is even more complex: archiectonic and iconographic indices indicate that Armenia is an integral part and memory of a globalized Christian Mediterranean. |
