Popis This article is concerned with land property of a village community on an example of private goods of Metropolitan Chapter at Saint Wenceslas in Olomouc in a period between the reforms of Enlightenment (Maria Teresa and Joseph II) and the abolition of servitude in 1848. This period brought important changes to the lives of rural population, but also changed the way of agricultural production. Municipal lands were ordinary parts of estate of every Moravian village since the Middle Age and their quantity and also ways of use were changing during times. The article observes a quantity of municipal lands and a development of quantity. 38 villages were used as an example. They were possessed by Chapter at Saint Wenceslas in Olomouc. In the article I observe how village communities used these lands, what where proportions between fields, meadows, grazing lands and forests during this age. Divisions of municipal estates between members of communities and following conflicts are also topic of this article. These divisions of estates were parts of the innovation process of agricultural production.
