| Popis | The aim of this study is to identifying the different interpretative options in "The Encounter" ("El encuentro"), the short story by Jorge Luis Borges from The Brodie’s report (El Informe de Brodie). Indeed, the link between fighters and weapons is likely to be read from the point of view of a magical story, a fantasy storytelling or a cryptic narration. Complementary, these reading options materialize the theme of the grip/influence which can be found in many other Borges’ short stories. |
