| Popis | The conference paper presents the catalogue of Pavel Zemek Novák from its origin to its current state. It takes a closer look at the relationship between the composer's work and the structure of the catalogue and the cataloging record itself. It describes the influence of the character of the work on the formation of the catalogue. The fact that it is a catalogue of a living composer is not only non-standard, but it puts the researcher in specific situations that deserve reflection and clarification, how the cataloging process was influenced by this fact. One of the consequences is a creation of an opened catalogue. Of course, this is for a continuously changing number of completed works, but the composer's work is a constantly fluctuating element, the changes of which are not only reflected in quantity. The article further argues about the relevance of the catalogue and the sensitivity of claims that would be labeled as a priori in the future. Finally, the possibilities and future ambitions of Pavel Zemek Novák's open catalogue are presented. |
