Popis | Smart Grids (SG) represent one of the key critical infrastructures. Over time, several ontologies were defined in the SG domain to model aspects such as devices and sensors integration, and prosumers’ communication needs. In this paper, we review the state of the art regarding semantic web reasoning in the domain of SGs. We compare five main ontologies in terms of descriptive statistics (e.g., number of axioms), load time and reasoners runtime performance. Results show that not all the ontologies in the SG domain are readily available, and that some of them might be more appropriate for deployment in devices with limited computational resources. |
