| Popis | The paper deals with various aspects of Lithuanian language study; it emphasizes the motivation of students to study and job search strategies. The answers to these questions will be in search: Why do students decide to study Baltic studies? What is their motivation for such a decision? Does previous knowledge of the field of studies impact a successful study career? What are the expectations of students applying for Baltic studies? Do the students feel involved in the activities of their department? Does such involvement help them in their studies, and how? The paper also deals with the Baltic studies absolvents possibilities in the job market. Do students look for and find a job connected to their study field? Do they want to continue in their activity in the Baltic studies field? What is their motivation for that? How do they judge the contribution of their study field to their future and work? The respondents' answers from Prague and Brno Baltic studies centers will be confronted. |
