| Popis | The study describes institutional restructuring of historical studies in the Bohemian countries in the time of their annexation to National Socialist Germany. It deals with the plans of the new authorities in the Reichsgau Sudetenland and in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia to direct historical research and production. From the projects, which have changed several times, a History Institute of the Reinhard Heydrich Foundation in Prague had finally emerged. The author tries to give an answer to the question to what extent and in what sense the tasks that these politically controlled institutions of historical research had to be counted among the tasks of the war effort. |
