| Popis | This study deals with smallpox and the virus that causes this disease. It maps the occurrence of smallpox throughout human history and the spread of smallpox. It captures the characteristics of smallpox and their impact on religion. The study also covers the oldest types of treatment, and the first steps leading to the prevention of this disease, especially variolation and later vaccinations. The last parts are devoted to the eradication of smallpox and epidemics in the Moravia region. |
