| Popis | Thesis titled Less common local diseases is part of a collective anthology of scientific papers about epidemics, that will be a fundamental part of travelling exhibition. The current part of the thesis, as well as the whole anthology, deals with individual diseases, their origin, manifestations of diseases, the impact of diseases on humanity, the struggle and possible victory of humanity over these diseases. Thesis covers important moments in the fight against diseases, the impact of diseases on everyday life and references related to these diseases. The section entitled Less common local diseases deals with whooping cough, diphtheria, malaria and the venereal diseases such as syphilis and AIDS. |
