| Popis | The Marian and Trinity Plague Columns are an important monument, especially of Baroque sculpture, and a numerous phenomenon in Bohemia and Moravia. The following study briefly deals with the origin and problems of iconography of columns and their connection with plague epidemics. It monitors aspects of aspects from which it is possible to monitor and systematize columns. It refers to the literature that deals with the enumeration and characteristics of individual occurrences of this monument, whose Baroque tradition basically ends with the construction of monuments in the 19th century and the First World War.
