| Popis | Textbooks often play a central role in the formal teaching of foreign and second languages, especially at beginner level. The following presentation aims to explore and describe cultural content found in textbooks in the Norwegian language for Czech students. I would like to draw attention to two textbooks: Norština nejen pro samouky (2007) and Norský svět (2022). I will focus on which cultural aspects are present in the textbook and what their frequency is. At the same time, I will outline how the Norwegians are portrayed in the textbook, what is typical for them, and possibly what distinguishes them from the Czech characters in the textbook. In order to identify the aspects of culture, I limited the scope of my research to include only the main texts of the textbooks. |
