| Popis | The first part of the paper deals with the description of the state of codicological research in Slovakia. It points out the importance of the involvement of fragment research in the research of medieval book and music culture. The second part is devoted to the specific example of the libraries of Carthusian monasteries - Skala útočišťa and Lechnica. It analyses their manuscript and incunabula collections. It searches for fragments, studies their provenance and tries to interpret the extent of cultural relations of the two monasteries on the basis of these fragments. |
