Popis | New rock crystal artefacts were discovered near the village of Bohdalec. They probably originate from a workshop for the processing of raw rock crystal materials in the same area. Rock crystals found in eluvial-fluvial sediments in a wider area were examined as comparative material. In the current study, fluid inclusions were investigated to determine the provenance of the examined materials. Optical microscopy, microthermometry and Raman spectroscopy were methods used for this work. The study of fluid inclusions showed that two- (L+V) and three- (L1±L2+V) phase aqueous-carbonic inclusions are present in the studied samples. Aqueous system H2O-NaCl was identified in the Type 3 fluid inclusions (L+V).Type 1 (L1±L2+V) and Type 2 (L1±L2+V) inclusions contain a carbonic phase and an aqueous solution. Raman spectroscopy made it possible to specify the composition of the carbonic phase and to define the fluid system enclosed in the studied fluid inclusions (Type 1 and Type 2) as H2O-NaCl-CO2-CH4-N2. The results of the measurements were compared with published data from the same area, where the presence of fluids containing CO2 was also documented, and the melting temperature of solid CO2 also indicated the presence of other gases. The data acquired in this study and also their comparison with published data lead to the conclusion that the provenance of the found rock crystal artefacts could be located in the area between Žďár nad Sázavou – Nové Město na Moravě – Radostín nad Oslavou - Sklené nad Oslavou, and Bobrová. |
