Citace
Popis The chapter analyses the problem of nomadism as a discursive, identity and cultural metaphor in the poetry of Rui Knopfli, one of the greatest Mozambican poets, whose literary production was partly developed abroad. Within this scope, oscillations between "centre" and "periphery" at the level of spatial, identity and literary dynamism, as well as literary intersections and discursive processes of affirmation/subversion of canonical voices are focused on in particular. The analysis is essentially based on the conceptions of nomadism developed within cultural studies and focuses on the collection O corpo de Atena (The Body of Athena, 1984), written in Britain. Finally, the insertion of Knopfli's personality/work within the context of the very new Mozambican poetry allows us to observe how this author becomes, in turn, a centre of reference for new literary generations.
