Late Middle Ages German historiographical texts from Bohemia - A philological analysis, electronic edition

The only permanent member of the project is its applicant Vlastimil Brom, the lecturer at the Department of German Scandinavian and Dutch Studies (Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University Brno), graduated in the Master Study History – German Language and Literature – (2000) and in the doctoral program Philology, specialization German language (2004).
By his specializations the main scholar fields of the project are covered, namely the diachronic linguistics (German) and History, especially the medievalistics.
V. Brom's main point of interest is the German linguistics and philology, especially concerning the sources originating in Bohemian lands (Diploma thesis in History: the historical interpretation of the rhymed German Translation of Dalimil-Chronicle; the dissertation thesis: the language analysis of this text). On the Department he teaches the historical development of German, courses of Etymology and Historical Semantics, Onomastics, Language Contacts etc.
