Social Work and Social Ecology
Responding to Global Challenges: Building a Culture of Ecological Responsibility in the 21st Century
Short intensive mobility program
Join our exciting two-part program, study with a scholarship, earn credits and learn more about social-ecological thinking and practice at the University of Pécs, Hungary!
The program comprises two parts:
- April 12-15, 2021 (online)
Virtual classes in Social Work and Social Ecology: A brief overview on main concepts of eco-creative activities, on methods of ecological community development, and on the importance of social participation.
- July 4-10, 2021 (social-ecological community practice in Pécs)
Building a community garden with students from all over Europe: Working together with local NGOs towards a common goal and creating positive outcomes such as environmental improvements, economic benefits, higher-level social solidarity, and community development.
Credits: 5 ECTS
Language of instruction: English
The EDUC scholarship: 550 EUR that can be used to cover travel cost, full tuition, accommodation, meals, participation in exciting social programs
