| Popis | Heimito von Doderer 's novel „Die erleuchteten Fenster“ already challenges the average German reader ( but also the experienced Doderer readers). The presentation will discuss the difficulties of translating such a book . In particular, the translation of certain phrasemes and metaphors will be discussed, as well as the portability of modal particles, which can be found frequently in the text, and their specific semantics. |
