Popis Technological processes pictured by John Amos Comenius have survived up to 20th century even though it is not obvious at the first sight. Since that time the field was deprived of lots of its experience, knowledge, superstitions and customs which were passed from generation to generation due to introduction of new technologies and, last but not least due to the fact that the field has become more professional. They were replaced by knowledge of modern methods in wine growing and winemaking. But the modern winemaking and wine growing culture can be enriched by coming back to tradition and knowledge of historical connections.
