The Solidarity Project is the ideal first project for young people who want to change their neighbourhood for the better. The European Solidarity Corps allows young people to gain valuable experience in a volunteering trip. With the exception of solidarity projects, where young people can apply directly, the Corps involves individuals mainly through organisations, institutions and public or private bodies that organise solidarity activities.
Solidarity projects are a national activity prepared by a team of 5 young people (18-30 years old) who are residents of the Czech Republic with the aim of finding solutions to current and future social problems, strengthening mutual understanding to contribute to positive change and advocate for a more inclusive society. MUNI can also be involved in the project as an umbrella organisation to help the young people with the project administration, but the essential project part is the responsibility of the young people themselves.
Priorities for the European Solidarity Corps 2021-2027 programming period
