The programme is intended for PhD students or doctors up to 40 years of age (including, calculated at the closing date of applications), active in the humanities and social sciences. Support can be obtained in the following areas:
The Hus Foundation grant will support the development of a professional essay in the range of 70 to 100 standard pages on a given topic, which it considers important in terms of its mission to promote education, culture and freedom. The total grant amount is max. 100,000,- CZK.
The Huss Foundation's scholarship is primarily intended to encourage free and undisturbed research by aspiring university teachers and academics, which it believes is not taken for granted and generally encouraged. The scholarship amounts to 60.000,- CZK.
The IUS et SOCIETAS Award is awarded for essays containing the most interesting suggestions, views and questions about the role of law and justice in society. The competition is for sociologists, political scientists, lawyers, philosophers, economists and students from other social sciences.

The Czech Literary Fund Foundation provides grants and scholarships in the fields of literature, drama, journalism and science. Detailed information about individual grants and scholarships can be found on the Czech Literary Fund website under the Foundation Programme (for the current year). Application deadlines are expected at the beginning of the year.
Since 2013, the Czech Literary Fund Foundation’s prizes for scientific literature have been awarded together with the Josef Hlávka Prizes. For up-to-date information, please visit the Czech Literary Fund website (see link above).
Every year, the Czech Music Fund Foundation announces grant competitions for projects in composition, performance, and musicology and the fields of popular music, jazz and related genres. Applications are accepted in spring, more information here.

The Brno City Council has approved subsidy programmes in the field of culture - one-year subsidies for 2025 and two-year subsidies 2025-2026. The deadline for applications is 30 September 2024.
The Ministry of Health announces a public competition for special-purpose support for health research and development projects fulfilling the announced Programme for the Support of Applied Health Research for the years 2024 - 2030.
