The Regional Authority of the South Moravian Region provides subsidies in the areas of Culture and Monument Care; Prevention and Fire Protection; Regional Development (Smart Accelerator calls); Social and Family Policy; Rural and Agricultural Policy; Education, Sport and Leisure; Healthcare; Environment; on the basis of calls. Outside these areas, it is possible to apply for a Grant outside the Grant Programme for a specific purpose.
Grants provided must be in the public interest and in accordance with the South Moravian Region Development Strategy 2021+ (or other development documents of the South Moravian Region).

Brno City Municipality ( MMB) awards grants according to individual areas (Education and Youth, Sport, Culture, Environment, Social Care, Health, Heritage Care, Transport and Creative Industry), which are intended for predetermined purposes, to a defined range of applicants and for a specified period of time. In addition, MMB awards individual grants (Grants with Patronage from the Marketing and Tourism Office, Culture and from the Strategic Development and Cooperation Department) for the purpose specified by the specific applicant in the application.

The Czech Health Research Council (AZV) supports applied research projects in the health sector. The Agency's support is focused on three main areas, namely Public Health, Pathogenesis and Development of Diseases and Innovative Solutions for Medicine. Projects are categorized according to the career path of the proposer into junior and basic. The duration of the project is 44 months.
AZV also ensures the involvement of Czech scientists in the European Partnerships in Health. The Czech Republic has joined the European Partnership "Rare Diseases" and involvement in "Pandemic Preparedness", "One Health Antimicrobial Resistance" and "Personalised Medicine" is under discussion.

The Brno City Council has approved subsidy programmes in the field of culture - one-year subsidies for 2025 and two-year subsidies 2025-2026. The deadline for applications is 30 September 2024.
The Ministry of Health announces a public competition for special-purpose support for health research and development projects fulfilling the announced Programme for the Support of Applied Health Research for the years 2024 - 2030.
