BYGDØY

These photos are from the Bygdøy Peninsula, which is a popular leisure and tourist destination. There is a large park with cycle paths, beaches, playgrounds, the royal summer residence and the Oscarshall Palace, which serves as an art gallery. Bygdøy is also the place of many museums, which was the reason for our visit. The photos show the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History and the Center for Studies of the Holocaust and Religious Minorities, but we also visited the Fram Museum, the Kon-Tiki Museum, the Viking Ship Museum and the Norwegian Maritime Museum.
