Helmut Kausler is a Workplace Consultant at Steelcase, the global leader in office furniture, interior architecture and space solutions for offices, hospitals and classrooms. Helmut specializes in higher education as part of the Steelcase Education department in EMEA. In his role, he works closely with leading universities and institutions, consulting them on new ways of teaching and learning. In addition, he works with architects to ensure that the learning environments they plan cover the components of active learning spaces ideal for both students and teachers. Before joining Steelcase, Helmut worked at leading companies like Microsoft, BMW, the FWU and Intel. He has more than 20 years of experience working in the education sector. He holds a teaching degree, as well as a master’s degree, from the University of Munich, LMU. Helmut can be contacted at hkausler@steelcase.com.
