Literature is written with beer

A pub is a place where history is made. Even literary ones. How many Czech classics spent time in their favourite pubs and how did the consumption of the golden drink affect their works?

Karolína Zoe Meixnerová studied Bohemia and Journalism at Charles University. She is dedicated to the popularization of Czech literature through her talks, lectures and theatre performances. She is also active in this activity on the social networks Instagram @cojezoe_ and Titk Tok @cojezoe. She is also the author of the book A Guide to 19th Century Literary Hysteria.

The event is part of the MUNI/A/1362/2022 Cultural History of Beer project and admission is free (only until the hall is full).
