We cordially invite you to the second autumn lecture of the Renaissance & Baroque series at the Jiří Mahen Library. This time, Professor Jiří Kroupa will take us to Baroque Italy and introduce us to the story of one of Europe's most famous painters - Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio - whose end of life is shrouded in darkness, just like his chiaroscuro paintings. The lecture will take place on 6 November at 17.00 at the Jiří Mahen Library.
