TIM Master Class: Tomáš Pospěch

The lecture aims to present current approaches of artists to artists' books and how it relates to the "historiographical turn" in curatorial practice. It will attempt to show how these tendencies have manifested themselves in Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, countries that have had similar histories and have been facing similar social problems in recent years. The topic of the lecture is chosen to capitalize on the author's many years of experience as a photographer, art historian, book publisher and editor, as well as on predilection for "bad readings" of archives.
