Both solitary and extroverted species can be observed in the ecosystem of the Faculty of Arts. However, they all live in symbiosis with each other. Become part of their natural habitat.

A new photo contest for foreign students on the topic "Only in Brno" has been added. The six winning images come from the cameras of students of three faculties and from the summer school.
Yana Dmyterchuk and Silvia Podsednik met in the Summer School of Slavonic (Czech) Studies organised by the Department of Czech for Foreigners. Now they have worked as guides for the event for three years in a row.
Masaryk University is among world’s top 500 universities for the third time, according to the most recent Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU). MU is the only Czech university to improve its ranking by two hundred places since 2021.
Since April, Masaryk University has a security manager. Pavel Bojanovský is an alumnus of the Faculty of Law with vast experience in the Police of the Czech Republic.

A total of 101 students from 31 countries from all over the world are taking part in this year's Summer School of Slavonic (Czech) Studies, which has been organised regularly for over half a century by the Department of Czech for Foreigners at the Faculty of Arts.
