The city and its inhabitants, the 20th century and the collective memory form the main line of this suggested project. The team of the research scientists aims at describing not only the events of the "big" history, and its traces left in the city area and in people´s memory, but also the "small" history of everyday life, which forms the local identity. The team thanks to its members specialization works in an interdisciplinary way. The realization of the project includes the fieldwork (questionnaire research, oral history method and interviews) and archive research, accompanied by analysis of iconographic and acoustic materials. The output of this project will be several partial essays and the preparation of the scientific publication.
