The project will strongly contribute to social inclusion where higher education students will be trained in the field of financial literacy and with the help of the new platform they could further use the new tools and instruments to disseminate financial literacy knowledge. A new platform with the creation of specific curricula would be able to support higher education institutions (HEIs) students to be more active in the field of civic competencies and contribute to the sustainable development of the society. All the students who will pass Financial Literacy university course will obtain ECTS credits widely recognised in higher education. Furthermore, the students who will participate in delivering financial literacy will be awarded certificate that would be a sign of increased competencies. Based on the previous programming period 2007-2013 where it has been quite clear that students have been quite intensely involved in the volunteering activities, the project could provide appropriate tools for their further involvement (concentrated on vulnerable groups including the migrants).

The project involves the delivering financial education to vulnerable groups through university students. The transferred knowledge will be tailored to the needs of the selected group with respect to the research outputs of the projects which examine the problematic areas. Based on the research the study materials and the content of financial education programmes will be designed, thus tailored to the current needs of the target groups.
