The goal of the present project is the wide extension of the research topics that I have covered in my PhD thesis conducted at the Department of Art History at Masaryk University in co-supervision with the University of Fribourg, Switzerland in four directions: 1) to investigation of a vast corpus of late antique objects made around the Mediterranean basin; 2) examination of the key-role played by artifacts related to the cult of relics; 3) proposition of new interdisciplinary perspectives on late antique objects; 4) extensive publication activities (1 scholarly monograph and 2 peer-reviewed articles, applicable for RIV and indexed in the WoS) and disseminating (1 conference paper)
