As ethnographic studies show, diet is a relatively stable aspect of lifestyle. Therefore, its study in archaic populations is an important source of knowledge. In addition, interdisciplinary research of archaeological sources makes it possible to modify the cultural-historical paradigm on which our knowledge of the first farmers in Moravia is based. The analysis of lipids preserved in the microporous matrix of the ceramic vessels is the initial method of the project, also a good dating method.
