The project aims to extend the methods of excellent teaching within the BA Programme English Language for Education. Although the methods of excellent teaching (such as teaching with the help of artificial intelligence, simulated virtual environments, games, experiential pedagogy, teamwork, as well as integrated teaching) are standardly used at the Department of English Language and Literature, it is also true that they are not used to the same extent by all teachers and across all courses. Thus, the potential of excellent methods has not been fully optimised because they could be used in more courses and therefore their transformative impact could bring more benefits to more students. We would therefore like to participate in the project to extend the use of excellent teaching methods to more courses to better prepare future English teachers for their lifelong teaching practice.
