The field of large language models (LLMs) has been a groundbreaking event in the field of information handling since the first models were published. We believe that every student should become familiar with appropriate practices that change established patterns of behavior and work with computer applications. This course focuses specifically on the specifics of the LLM and their new applications.
Students will learn not only the basic principles of how models work, but also the implications of these principles, such as hallucinations, problems with simple computations, and the specifics of what makes an LLM an easy/difficult task. Emphasis is placed on the efficient and ethical use of available technology.
