The research will be directed towards a deeper understanding and interpretation of the social context of the existence of folklore in historical perspective and in contemporary society. The fulfilment of the project objectives will be realised through two sub-research axes, which should cover both material and immaterial manifestations.
The 1st thematic axis folklore will focus on the area of folk art culture; the 2nd thematic axis will focus on the festivalization of immaterial manifestations of traditional culture.
