Description | The aim of this work was to develop an effective, rapid and simple method for the quantitative analysis of fluorine in Glass Ionomer Cement (GIC). Calibration curves describing the relationship between the fluorine concentration and the corresponding intensity of LIBS signal, were constructed for two LIBS devices, with and without He flow also. F(I) spectral line of 685.6 nm was found to be considerably sensitive and provided the linear calibration. The best LOD value was obtained for the device with the short gate width (5 microseconds) in He atmosphere. |
